Science

Today I will be sending home a vocabulary chapter review. It is completely optional, and will only benefit the students if they do it. I thought it would be a nice way to finish up chapter 6.

As the snow starts to fall,I want to remind you to send the proper winter gear with your child. It is important that they are dressed to play while outside.

Things to know....

1)Our science partner quiz from last week was thrown out, and I have created a new one that the students will take this week. Many did not do well, so I have decided to give them another shot at it.
2)A social studies timeline project is coming home today, and is due November 30th.

Couple Notes

Hi Families~
I just wanted to let you all know that the science partner quiz we took last week will be thrown out. There were quite a few students that did not do well on it even though they had a partner and they were able to use their books. I have created my own lesson 3 quiz and we will be taking it this week.
Also, if you are able to donate anymore disinfecting wipes, our class would greatly appreciate it. We are almost out!

Just a few things.........

*Tomorrow is the last day to turn in October reading logs. The students do get points for turning them in, so it is very important to do so. Also, your child should try to read at home each day and record their minutes. Reading is wonderful!

*We are getting down to our last few containers of Lysol wipes....if you are able to send another one with your child, it would be greatly appreciated. We wipe down our desks each morning, so it does not take long to go through a container. Thank you!

READ, READ!

Congratulations to Tianna! She read the most chapter books during the month of September.

Remember to keep track of your child's daily reading minutes. Book-It officially begins this month!
